EMERGENCY ROOFING
Emergencies here often come with snow on the roof or trees down nearby. Our crew plans for both when we respond.

Where it’s safe, we clear snow from the damaged area, then fasten and seal a heavy tarp so melting snow and rain stay outside until the permanent repair.

When meltwater is pouring in at the eaves, we work to stop the water at the roof edge, protect the damaged area and plan the repair of shingles and decking afterwards.

After the tree service removes the weight, we close the opening, check the rafters and decking around it and photograph everything for your insurance claim.

WHEN TO CALL
These situations can get worse quickly, especially in cold weather. Call us as soon as you notice them.
A ceiling bowing under heavy snow or water is a warning. Leave that room and call 911 if you’re worried.
Large amounts of water along exterior walls during a thaw usually mean a serious ice dam.
Even if no hole is visible, a heavy limb can crack rafters. Stay out of the rooms beneath it.
Call (201) 565-6664 at any hour. If a tree is on wires or the structure looks unsafe, call 911 and your utility first.

SIMPLE FROM START TO FINISH
We inspect your roof and explain what we find. Your estimate outlines the recommended work, materials and next steps, with time to ask questions before you decide.
After you approve the plan, we agree on a schedule and explain how to prepare your home. The team completes the repair or installation and keeps you informed about any changes.
We review the finished work and clean up the work area. A final walkthrough lets you ask questions and discuss the care and warranty information that applies to your roof.

EMERGENCY ROOFING FAQS
Yes. ADZ Roofing answers 24/7. Call (201) 565-6664 and tell us what’s happening and your ZIP code. We’ll explain how to limit the damage and when a crew can reach you to secure the roof.
Not by climbing up. Standing on a snowy roof is dangerous. A roof rake used from the ground can take some load off the lower edge. If you see sagging, hear cracking or find new leaks, call us instead.
Move belongings away, catch the water and keep it away from outlets and electronics. Don’t chip at the ice; it damages shingles and gutters. Call us, and we’ll work to stop the water and protect the roof.
If anyone is hurt, wires are down or the house looks unstable, call 911 first. A tree service removes the tree; we secure the roof once the weight is off, then inspect the framing and plan the repair.
We head out as soon as the roads are safe to travel. On the phone we confirm timing for your ZIP code and talk you through steps to limit damage. Let us know if your driveway is long, steep or unplowed.
It depends on the damage, how much snow or debris has to be cleared and what the permanent repair involves. We explain the temporary work before we start and give you a written estimate for the full repair.
Many policies cover sudden damage from falling trees and some ice dam water damage, but terms vary. Call your insurer to check. We provide photos and notes of the damage and our temporary repair for your claim.
Yes. Ice can bend gutters or pull them off the fascia. In an emergency we remove loose sections that could fall. Once the weather allows, we repair or replace them along with any damaged roof edge.
HELP IN ANY WEATHER
We answer day and night. We’ll stop the water now and plan the permanent repair with you.
