WARRANTY PROTECTION · NEW JERSEY
Warranties on our roofing & exterior work
Know what’s covered, for how long and who to call. You’ll receive your warranty information in writing with your estimate, before any work begins.

WHAT’S COVERED
Two kinds of protection.
Most projects come with two separate warranties. It helps to understand how they differ and what each one expects of you.
Workmanship coverage
Covers how the work was installed. The length and terms are stated in your written estimate and contract.
Manufacturer coverage
Covers the materials themselves and is provided by the manufacturer. Terms vary by product line and may require registration.
What can affect coverage
Later alterations, storm damage and lack of maintenance are common exclusions. Ask us to walk you through them.

The length depends on the type of work and is written into your estimate and contract, so you can review it before you sign. Ask us to explain the terms that apply to your specific project.
Call (201) 565-6664 or email [email protected] with your address, roughly when the work was done and photos of the problem if you can take them safely. We’ll arrange a visit, look at the problem and explain what’s covered.
It depends on the warranty. Many manufacturer warranties can be transferred to a new owner, sometimes with a registration step. Your contract states whether our workmanship warranty transfers, so check it before you list your home.
Some manufacturer warranties have to be registered to take effect. As a GAF Certified contractor, we’ll tell you which GAF warranty applies to your roof and how it’s registered, and you keep the paperwork with your project records.
Keep gutters clear, have the roof checked after major storms, and don’t let other trades cut into or mount equipment on the roof without asking first. Your warranty documents list the exact maintenance requirements and exclusions.
Coverage depends on the work. Your estimate and contract state what the workmanship warranty covers for your specific repair or replacement, so you know exactly what’s included before you sign.
