ROOF REPLACEMENT
From the first inspection to the final sweep of the yard, a replacement follows a clear order. Here is what happens at your home.

We strip the old shingles and underlayment down to the wood, then check every sheet of the deck. Rotted or soft sections are replaced before anything new goes on.

Ice and water barrier, underlayment, drip edge, new flashing and your choice of shingles or metal go on in order, with vents sized for your attic.

We cover shrubs and AC units during the tear-off, haul away every load of debris and sweep the yard and driveway with a magnet. Then we review the roof with you.

SIGNS IT’S TIME
A few worn shingles can be repaired. These signs usually mean the whole roof is close to the end of its life.
Edges that cup or crack across several slopes mean the shingles have dried out and no longer seal down.
Heavy granule loss leaves the asphalt exposed to sun and weather, which speeds up wear across the roof.
A roofline that dips, or decking that feels spongy underfoot, can mean long-term moisture. Have it checked soon.

SIMPLE FROM START TO FINISH
We inspect your roof and explain what we find. Your estimate outlines the recommended work, materials and next steps, with time to ask questions before you decide.
After you approve the plan, we agree on a schedule and explain how to prepare your home. The team completes the repair or installation and keeps you informed about any changes.
We review the finished work and clean up the work area. A final walkthrough lets you ask questions and discuss the care and warranty information that applies to your roof.

ROOF REPLACEMENT FAQS
It depends on the size and pitch of the roof, how many layers come off, the material you choose, any deck repairs and details such as chimneys and skylights. A free inspection gives you a written estimate with each part explained.
If the damage is in one area and the rest of the roof is in good shape, a repair usually makes sense. Widespread curling, granule loss, soft decking or repeat leaks in different spots point to replacement. We show you photos either way.
Most single-family replacements are finished within a few working days. Larger roofs, steep pitches and deck repairs add time. We watch the weather closely and make sure the roof is sealed before we leave each day.
No, but we’ll need access to the driveway and attic and a way to reach you. Tear-off is noisy, so anyone working from home, and pets, may be more comfortable somewhere else for the day.
We cover shrubs, flower beds and AC units, lay tarps to catch debris and place the dumpster where it causes the least disruption. At the end of each day we sweep the yard and driveway with a magnet for nails.
Insurance usually covers sudden damage, such as a storm, rather than age and wear. If there is storm damage, we provide photos and a written estimate you can send with your claim. The coverage decision is your insurer’s.
Yes. Financing is available through a third-party lender, subject to credit approval. Ask about it when we give you your estimate, and we’ll explain how it works so you can plan the project with confidence.
Spring through fall is easiest, because shingles seal down best in mild, dry weather. When a roof can’t wait, we also replace roofs in winter, choosing dry days and taking extra care with sealing in the cold.
