MIDDLESEX COUNTY ROOFS

Three house styles, three roof problems.

Middlesex County packs many house styles into its towns. Each one has a weak spot worth checking before it leaks.

  • Older capes with dormers

Dormer walls, cheek flashing and tight attics are common trouble spots. Poor attic airflow also leads to ice dams in winter.

  • Split-levels, many roof planes

Split-levels have roofs meeting walls at several heights. Step flashing at each joint has to be right, or water runs behind siding.

  • Two-family homes

Two-family homes often have porch roofs, flat sections and two households inside. We plan the work so both units stay protected.

SIMPLE FROM START TO FINISH

Our simple 3-step roofing process.

  1. Inspection & estimate

We inspect your roof and explain what we find. Your estimate outlines the recommended work, materials and next steps, with time to ask questions before you decide.

  2. Repair or installation

After you approve the plan, we agree on a schedule and explain how to prepare your home. The team completes the repair or installation and keeps you informed about any changes.

  3. Final check & cleanup

We review the finished work and clean up the work area. A final walkthrough lets you ask questions and discuss the care and warranty information that applies to your roof.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY ROOFING FAQS

Questions? Start here.

Get a written estimate that lists tear-off, decking, flashing and clean-up, and confirm the contractor is registered with the state and insured. ADZ Roofing is NJ HIC #13VH12840300, GAF Certified and rated 5.0 on Google from 27 reviews.

We’re based in Clifton and book Middlesex County work by appointment. Send your town and ZIP code, and we’ll confirm a date for your free inspection and explain how the work itself would be scheduled.

Dormers add walls, valleys and small roof sections, each with its own flashing. When that flashing loosens or was never tied in well, water gets behind it. We open up the area, replace the flashing and seal it properly.

Yes. On two-family homes we plan the work so both units stay dry and everyone knows what to expect. We can also redo porch roofs and flat sections at the same time as the main roof.

On split-levels and homes with additions, sections can wear at different rates. If one area is failing and the rest is sound, a section repair may be fine. If they’re all near the end, a full replacement keeps the roof matched and under one written warranty.

It depends on the roof’s size and number of sections, its pitch, layers to remove, decking repairs and the shingle you choose. Capes with dormers and split-levels take more detail work. A free inspection gives you a written estimate.

Yes. We install and repair vinyl siding and cedar shake. Where roofs meet walls, new siding and step flashing should be done together, so planning both jobs at once usually gives the cleanest result.

Yes. Financing is offered through a third-party lender, subject to credit approval. Ask when you book your free estimate, and we’ll explain how it fits with your written estimate for the work.
