FLAT ROOF LEAK REPAIR
On a flat roof, water can travel under the membrane before it drips. We check every likely source, not just the spot above the stain.

We cut out blistered or split sections of torch-down or older roofing and torch new modified bitumen over them, overlapping sound material on every side.

Clogged drains and scuppers make water pond and back up under the edges. We clear them, reseal the flashing around them and check that water runs off.

Cracked coping, loose cap flashing and the joint where your roof meets a neighbor’s are common leak points. We reseal or rebuild them, masonry included.

SIGNS OF A FLAT ROOF LEAK
City buildings leak in their own ways. If you notice any of these, the roof above deserves a look.
A brown line where the top-floor ceiling meets an exterior or party wall often traces back to parapet flashing.
Standing water on the roof days after rain means a blocked drain or a low spot that will wear through.
Water around a skylight, hatch or vent usually means the curb flashing has cracked or pulled loose.
Water dripping into an apartment right now? Call (201) 565-6664. We answer 24/7 and can patch a flat roof the same day.

SIMPLE FROM START TO FINISH
We inspect your roof and explain what we find. Your estimate outlines the recommended work, materials and next steps, with time to ask questions before you decide.
After you approve the plan, we agree on a schedule and explain how to prepare your home. The team completes the repair or installation and keeps you informed about any changes.
We review the finished work and clean up the work area. A final walkthrough lets you ask questions and discuss the care and warranty information that applies to your roof.

FLAT ROOF LEAK FAQS
It depends on the roof type, where the leak starts and how much membrane, flashing or wood is wet. Access through a hatch or on a tall building can also matter. We inspect for free and quote in writing.
On flat roofs, water can slip through one opening, travel under the membrane or along the roof boards, then drip somewhere else. That’s why we check seams, edges and drains across the roof, not only above the stain.
Yes. The joint at a party wall is a common leak point on attached homes. We repair the flashing on your side, and if the problem is on the neighbor’s roof, we’ll explain what we found so you can talk to them.
A coating can’t fix a split seam or a failed flashing. We repair the actual source with torch-down material. If the whole roof is worn, we’ll tell you honestly that a new roof is the better choice.
Yes. We work with owners of two- and three-family homes and small buildings. We arrange access, inspect, and send photos with a written estimate so the owner or board can decide quickly.
Keep drains and scuppers clear of leaves and debris, avoid heavy furniture or planters on the membrane, and have the roof checked after big storms. We offer free roof inspections whenever you want a look.
Yes. Many Hudson County two-families, especially in Bayonne, Kearny and Harrison, have shingle roofs. We repair shingles, flashing, valleys and chimney leaks on those just as we do on flat roofs.
We answer 24/7 and offer same-day service. If water is coming in, we patch or secure the roof first, then schedule the permanent repair. Street parking and roof access are part of what we plan for.
